Overview

Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND1 and ICND2) is an instructor led course presenting Cisco Systems to delegates who are keen on learning networking technologies from market leaders. This course focuses on using Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco routers connected in local area networks (LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) typically found at small to medium network sites. Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to select, connect, configure, troubleshoot various Cisco networking devices and be familiar with the fundamentals of Cisco's IOS.  


Pre-requisites
 
To fully benefit from ICND1 and ICND2, you should already possess certain prerequisite skills of networking and TCP/IP fundamentals.

·         Determine how to apply ACLs based on network requirements, and to configure, verify, and troubleshoot ACLs on a medium-sized network.

·         Describe when to use NAT or PAT on a medium-sized network, and configure NAT or PAT on routers.

·         Identify and implement the appropriate WAN technology based on network requirements. 
 
Certification
 

This course, together with the prerequisites, prepares you for exam: 640-822 ICND1 CCNA and 640-816 ICND2, to achieve the CCNA.
